Bio‑Drying
Municipal wastes and non‑hazardous organic sludge are weighed at facility entry, recorded, and transferred to pre‑treatment. Pyramid‑shaped windrows to be composted are kept under membrane covers on specially prepared concrete pads containing air channels for uniform aeration and leachate channels for collection. Windrows are turned weekly by heavy equipment. Dried output from membrane‑covered open composting (bio‑drying) is sent to the RDF Facility for fuel production.
