Süreko Goes For 100 Percent Capacity Increase in RDF Production
Recydia Executive President Enrico Friz stressed that interest in recycling and use of recycled materials is constantly increasing and expressed that this increase will continue. Friz also stated that this interest was the reason for their 100 percent capacity increase in Sureko Factories located in Kula. The project will increase the production of RDF, an alternative fuel to 5 tons / per hour capacity to 10 tons / per hour. Friz added that by 2018, hazardous waste logistics services were added thanks to the new vehicles with hazardous waste transportation licenses to their fleets. "By adding field management among our services, we provide our customers with expert staff and equipment support for waste management on the field," Friz said.

Emphasizing that the market is matured, Enrico Friz noted that they have evaluated growth targets and new investment opportunities at Sureko. Friz also shared that Sureko's growth target covered two main principles, which are growing in the Aegean Region and in growing in other industrially developed parts of Turkey and added that during this process, they regarded positively at the possible partnerships that may lead to synergy and integrity. Enrico Friz, who reported that Sureko had grown 33 percent in 2017, stated that this year will also become a year in which they will continue their growth in the market and will increase their capacity. Friz stated that Sureko was founded in 2008 and that after the establishment of the company, the company made additional investments while taking environmental permits. He gave the following information: "The full capacity utilization of the facility has been made possible after the investments that continued until 2010. Our activities include industrial waste recovery, recycling of metals and cables, disposal of waste sludge, recycling of fluorescents, biodegradation and alternative fuel production for use in cement factories. Our main business processes are generating energy from waste and disposal of solid waste via storage methods. PRODUCING ALTERNATIVE FUEL, RDF, FROM HOUSEHOLD WASTE
Enrico Friz expressed that the other company in Recydia body, Hereko, continued its activities on the recycling and management of household waste, or municipal waste, in Istanbul Komurcuoda vicinity, adding that Hereko produced approximately 30 thousand tons of SRF, which is produced using household waste.
